Garage, Basement & Attic Cleanouts in Providence, RI
We clear out garages, basements and attics in Providence and all across Rhode Island, whether it’s one packed corner or years of stored boxes, tools and old furniture. Homeowners in Cranston (LINK: /junk-removal-cranston/), Lincoln, Smithfield and Coventry call us for the same job, and so do families along the bay in Bristol, Warren and Barrington. Our crew empties the space, loads everything onto our truck and hauls it away, so the room is ready to use again.

What do we clear out of garages, basements and attics?
Just about everything that piles up in storage spaces: boxes, tools, old furniture, shelving, sports gear and things nobody has touched in years. If it isn’t hazardous, we can usually haul it away.
Garages
Old bikes, broken tools, metal and plastic shelving, kids' outgrown gear, scrap wood, tires and boxes stacked where the car should be.
Basements
Old couches and chairs, an extra fridge or dehumidifier, exercise equipment, boxes of paperwork, broken furniture and leftovers from past projects. Damaged carpet and soaked boxes after a leak or flood are common basement jobs too.
Attics
Holiday decorations, old suitcases, boxes of clothes and keepsakes, baby gear and furniture that went up years ago and never came back down.
Whole property cleanouts
Sometimes it's all three at once, plus a shed or a porch. We handle general property cleanouts when a house is being sold, emptied after a move or cleared out after a family member downsizes.
Why are cleanouts in older Providence homes harder?
Because older homes were not built for hauling big loads out of the basement or attic. More than half of Providence homes were built before 1940, according to Census based data from Point2Homes.
That often means steep, narrow basement stairs, low ceilings, small attic hatches and pull down ladders. Carrying a heavy dresser or forty boxes through those spaces is slow, sweaty work. It’s exactly the heavy lifting we do every day.
When do people call us for a cleanout?
Usually when a deadline, a mess or a project forces the issue. These are the most common reasons.
After heavy rain, flooding or severe weather
Water in the basement turns boxes, carpet and stored furniture into a heavy, soggy mess. The faster it's out, the sooner you can dry the space and start repairs.
Getting a house ready to sell
Buyers want to see an empty garage and a clean basement. Homeowners and real estate agents call us to clear storage spaces before listing photos and showings.
Moving or downsizing
Moving to a smaller place means deciding what comes with you. We take everything that doesn't make the cut, so the movers only load what's going.
Taking the space back
You want to park in the garage again, turn the basement into a family room or finally use the attic for storage that makes sense. It starts with an empty room.

How does a cleanout work?
You show us the space, we give you an upfront price, and our crew empties it and hauls everything away. Here’s how it goes.
- Send photos of the space. Text pictures of the garage, basement or attic to 401.400.1675. Wide shots of the whole space help us quote it right.
- Get a free estimate. We price by how much of our 16 foot truck the load will fill. No hidden fees.
- Set aside what stays. Move keepers to one side or mark them, and tell us. Everything else goes.
- Pick a day. We work Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call by 1 p.m. for same day or next day pickup.
- We empty the space. Our crew carries everything up the stairs, down from the attic and out of the garage, loads the truck and hauls it away.
